Bryan Ripper
Bryan has been obsessed with music since the age of 12. It all started with when he took
up playing trumpet in middle school just to get out of having to take woodshop class. After being exposed to such diverse music influences
like The Beatles, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Matthews Band, Barenaked Ladies and even such musical composers like John Williams
and Danny Elfman Bryan decided to branch out and expand his musical abilities.
In 1997 Bryan took up
playing bass and writing songs. He was pretty much a bassist for years and even began playing Upright Bass after being influenced
by the unmistakeable tones of Barenaked Ladies bassist Jim Creeggan.
Over the years Bryan dabbled with
the guitar playing the easiest of chords and eventually he decided it was time to crack down and become a guitarist and step to the
front of the band as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Denny's Revenge.
"One thing I love about
what we do is I'm fortunate enough to play with some stellar musicians and every night I'm challenged to not just entertain and stimulate
the crowd but my bandmates as well."
